Our products for waste water treatment for domestic installations.

Domestic waste water treatment plants come in a range of shapes and sizes to suit every need:

• Domestic sewage treatment plant: consists of domestic properties not on mains drainage which could include single house to small communities, barn conversions, and new builds.   Domestic product range covers up to 55 population equivalent.
• Septic tanks: are used in domestic applications where the authorities allow the discharge.  They are ideal for remote areas with a discharge to land.
• Commercial sewage treatment plant: can be used for larger domestic communities, ranging form 1 person to 3000 population equivalent, treating BOD and SS very efficiently along with a low ammonia standard if required.
• Packaged pumping station for sewage and effluent: designed for uses in domestic installations.   We can design and supply to adoptable standard.
• Reed beds/ willow beds: these can be designed and installed for natural treatment, either stand-alone or as tertiary polishing prior to watercourse discharge. Horizontal and vertical flow reedbed, maturation ponds and Intensified wetlands.

Water tanks: can be built above or below ground -  water storage tanks from 1 litre to 280,000 litres potable and non potable. They also can be built to specific requirement with shallow installation  possible. These can be used for water attenuation, water harvesting and silage effluent.

Oil or fuel tanks above or below, single skinned or bunded stations with or without pumps with flow meters and filters all designed to your requirement.

Ultra violet light treatment is for tertiary treatment of sewage and required to make very tight discharge standards.

Phosphate dosing is becoming a popular requirement in sewage treatment.  The authorities are asking for phosphate reduction in certain areas - Hutchinson can design and service the equipment.

Sand filters are used for domestic applications to reduce BOD and SS, up to a 600 population equivilant.  These can be used on old or new sewage treatment plants, above or below ground.
