» Rainwater Harvesting
In today's climate, water is an increasingly expensive commodity.  Any system that can reduce the volume of water purchased by the typical household, or effectively re-use water, is bound to pay for itself over time.  Rainwater harvesting is an efficient method of gathering rainfall in effective amounts which can then be put to good use around the household for laundry, car washing, flushing toilets, garden irrigation and a multitude of other everyday activities, thereby preserving stocks of drinking water and reducing household costs.  Systems can be installed above or below ground.

They offer a means of near replicating natural run-off and drainage thus miniimising the risk to our water bodies from the urban and rural environment. The need for SUDS is driven by our environmental regulators and planning authorities and they are no longer an option.

Usually SUDS will constitute a combination of basins, ponds, pipes, tanks, infiltration, permeable surfaces, swales, and filter drains with the best combination of structures and techniques being site specific.

»  Peat Filters
Peat filters are often used in areas where porosity is poor and/or where there are no water courses or good land drainage.  They are a secondary or tertiary system used to efficiently treat wastewater through a series of physical, chemical and biological interactions to safely remove bacteria.
