Government agencies:

The Environmental Agency is responsible for protecting and improving the enviroment in England and Wales.  Information relating to commercial projects, discharge consents and CfD charges can be found by using these links.

SEPA (Scottish Environment Protection Agency) is Scotland's environmental regulator and will help customers comply with environmental regulations.  The customer information page should contain all the links to information for private or comercial projects.  You can apply online for consent to discharge.
