Have you ever wondered how SEPA investigate pollution?
Try your hand at being an Environmental Detective. Drop by and join SEPA on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April at Hawthornden Court, National Museum of Scotland from 10am to 5pm.
Join their investigative scientists to look at the importance of identifying pollutants and those responsible for causing pollution.
In a series of fun, hands-on experiments you’ll find out how SEPA probe for pollutants, investigate bugs that tell us about water pollution and explore how microplastics can block the guts of water bugs and fish.
Have a look at SEPA's Pollution detectives and Microbeads trailers, to give you a flavour of what you can expect on the days.
